Another brick in the wall

 Over the course of last autumn I had a tremendous amount of free time on my hands, what with not having a job and all. Among the various projects I undertook to keep busy was cleaning up a local park (you're welcome, visitors to Double Rock Park in Parkville, Maryland). At a particular juncture in one of the park's trails a few different paths had briefly deviated off into the underbrush only to rejoin the trail a dozen feet later, opening a wide and rather ugly avenue of mud and stomped down plants. I figured that it would be advantageous to steer foot traffic along the real path, and so I constructed a small wall a few feet long out of river rocks and tossed a few branches onto the now-cordoned-off alternate routes to make them look impassable. Once I was done with that bit I figured that extending the wall a trifle would make the rest of the nearby trail look better as well, and so I kept building. A couple of months later the wall had reached a few hundred feet in length. It looks pretty good by my estimation, and folks walking through were unanimously complimentary.

 In summary: Somebody please hire me, I have a Bachelor's Degree and obviously just way too much energy to be left to my own devices.
